We have re-opened applications for the following: acting, music, sound recording / sound design, make-up, other (costume, special effects, helping hands, etc.). If you want to participate, please fill out a registration form.

Currently we can no longer offer any sleeping places in Vienna! If you want to come, please organise your own accomodation.

Please understand that due to the large number of applications this year we couldn't accept all the people who applied for directing, camera, light and editing.

At KinoDynamique short films are produced within 60 hours and screened in Viennese cinemas immediately after. There are three sessions of 60 hours each. At the beginnning of each session there is a production meeting, where directors present their ideas for a short film project and look for a crew to join their project. Directors are entitled to produce one short film in one of the three sessions. The maximum length for short films produced is 7 minutes.

The participation fee for every participant is 10 euros.

The "kinolab" (Raum für neue Arbeit: Missindorfstraße 21 / entrance 7 / 2nd floor, 1140 Vienna) is the center of KinoDynamique. Registration of participants, production meetings, editing and post-production take place there, the kino5 team is there to rent out and take back equipment.

Participants should bring their own equipment (for filming, editing, sound recording, etc.), if possible. There will be space at the kinolab to set up your work station. We offer free insurance for your equipment for the duration of KinoDynamique. Additionally, kino5 will be supplying limited additional equipment, such as some lights, cameras and editing computers.

The cinemas for the screenings will be announced soon. The special "quickie" screening gives everybody (not just directors) a chance to make their own short film: only short films under 3 minutes will be shown.
